iAge at Scanbalt Forum 2014
For players in the field of Healthy Ageing the Scanbalt Forum 2014 was the place to be last October. This international congress, with the theme ‘Active & Healthy Ageing’ took place in Groningen (NL) from 8th-10th October.
The Forum offered companies and research groups a platform to meet partners, share scientific and economic progress, define priorities and build consortiums.Besides inspiring guest speakers at the plenary events there were also parrelell sessions. During the ‘Science’ session Lydia Terpstra, Project Manager of the iAge Drenthe pilots, took the opportunity to present to the audience on the subject of ‘ICT tools for the elderly – opportunities and boundaries’.
The organizers , HANNN (Healthy Ageing Network Northern Netherlands) can look back on a very succesful event which will inevitably contribute to even more international cooperations and exchange.
